School Supplies

If your child would like to have his/her own supplies instead of having to share, the following are the items used most often in the classroom:

24 - #2 sharpened pencils	4 red pencils with erasers
1 box of colored pencils	1 small box of 16 crayons
2 pkg. of 100 3"x5" index cards (not spiral bound)	2 large pink erasers
2 large glue sticks	1 small white glue
1 pair of scissors	4 highlighters-2 yellow, 1 green, and 1 pink
1 deck of 52 standard playing cards	2 - 8 1/2 x 11 wide rule metal spiral notebooks
1 - box of 16 - 24 colored pencils	at least 4 refill packets of full sized baby wipes
2 - large boxes of tissues	1 - 12" ruler with inches and centimeters
1 ream of white copy paper

Due to limited space no pencil boxes, notebooks or binders, mechanical pencils, pens, or markers will be needed or allowed. Markers will be used only on special occasions and therefore do not need to be kept at school.

Suggestions:

Please make sure all belongings, especially jackets, sweaters, sweatshirts, lunch pails, and backpacks have your first and last name on them. We collect a great many lost items throughout the school year, and sadly many remain unclaimed. If your name is clearly printed or attached to your belongings, then you will have less difficulty finding them if they are misplaced.

*Mrs. Laurich will be sending home a note periodically throughout the year requesting donations of facial tissues and baby wipes. These are used to help us stay clean and healthy, and these items are especially important since we have no sink in our classroom. Mrs. Laurich will provide some to start the year, but your help would be appreciated in replenishing our supply. Thank you in advance for your assistance in providing these items.
