P.R.I.D.E.

1. Be kind, courteous, and respectful.
2. Practice self-discipline.
3. Follow directions.
4. Stay on task.
5. Complete and return all homework on time.

You will be making many choices throughout the day. The way in which you behave is one of those choices. All students are asked to THINK before making choices. PRIDE means you will do your personal best at taking responsibility throughout the day, both inside and outside the classroom.

PRIDE Celebration

If you made positive choices throughout the week, then you will be invited to join in celebrating this responsible behavior each Friday.

A note to parents:

With every choice we make in life, there are positive and negative consequences. Your child will be learning to make positive choices this year. I will do my best to enforce the classroom rules and expectations in a fair and consistent manner based upon the choices your child makes. Please remember: Discipline is teaching, not punishing. In order to teach a child to make good choices, we must structure the environment so expectations are clear and so are the consequences.
