Homework Tool Kit

It would be helpful if you had the following items available to you for completing homework. You might store them in a desk drawer, a shoebox, or a baggie. These items are all important to successfully completing nightly homework.

  1. 2 sharpened #2 pencils
  2. Pencil sharpener
  3. Eraser
  4. Crayons
  5. Colored pencils
  6. Children's dictionary and thesaurus
  7. Ruler - both centimeter and inch
  8. Math Fact Flash Cards
  9. Glue Stick

Things to Remember

Find a quiet place to complete your homework.

Read the directions for each activity.

Ask your parents for help if you do not remember what to do, and you do not understand the directions.

Use your best handwriting.

Keep your papers neat, clean, and unwrinkled.

Have a parent check your work for mistakes.

Correct your mistakes before returning your work to school.

Place completed papers carefully in your homework folder along with your Weekly Planner, and return them to school the next day.
